Mark Brown / CR2

Mark Brown aka Younghead started out as a young man from Leicester that was totally dedicated to music from an early age.  He spent many days in 5HQ Records, feeding his music passion and gaining as much information he could cram in from his musical inspiration DJ Mastersafe in the early 90s.

Mark went on to become the resident DJ of Passion and making guest appearances at Ministry and Cream in Ibiza, and Miami’s Groovejet.

In 2004 Mark set up CR2 record label and gained top 40 chart success in his first year.  In 2006 CR2 was behind the massive hit tune ‘Put your hands up for Detroit’ by Fedde Le Grand, that went to number 1 in the UK charts after being one of the biggest tunes of the summers in Ibiza.

Since then Mark has gone from strength to strength and has also added “events promoter” to his wide list of attributes and presents Ibiza club nights to the massive for the last few years.  Mark has not forgotten his Leicester roots and has recently been involved in taking his long time friend and early DJ mentor on various international gigs.
